Jack Ma-backed biz school made to halt new enrolments by China: Report
Beijing authorities have forced an elite business school, backed by Alibaba Group's Co-founder Jack Ma, to suspend new student enrolments, a report said. The restriction on the school, founded in 2015 by Ma to train entrepreneurs, comes amid China's increased scrutiny of Alibaba. In 2020, Chinese regulators launched an anti-monopoly probe into Alibaba and suspended its affiliate Ant Group's IPO.
