Jackie, a bald eagle in California who became an online star, died after receiving weeks of veterinary treatment. Jackie was being cared for by Ojai Raptor Center, a wildlife rehabilitation organisation, after she was attacked by other eagles. The bird had underlying health issues that caused anaemia and weight loss. She was 14.
