Jacob Duffy breaks Richard Hadlee's 40-year-old national record

New Zealand's Jacob Duffy broke a 40-year-old national record in the third Test against West Indies on Monday. On day five, he took a five-wicket haul which took his tally for the year 2025 to 81 wickets, the most for New Zealand in a single calendar year. Richard Hadlee was the previous record-holder with 79 wickets in 1985.
