Jacqueline withdraws plea to turn approver in conman Sukesh's ₹200-crore fraud case

Actress Jacqueline Fernandez has withdrawn her plea seeking to turn approver in a ₹200-crore money laundering case involving conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar. This comes a day after ED opposed her plea, saying she remained in contact with Sukesh despite knowing his criminal antecedents. Jacqueline's role is of a significant beneficiary of his "proceeds of crime", the agency stated.
