Jacques Kallis and Ponting approached by KKR for mentorship role

Jacques Kallis, former SA all-rounder, is one of the front runners for the position of mentor for the IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders. The team has said to be desperately engaged in negotiations with Kallis to take up a mentoring role before the next major auction. KKR have also approached former Australia captain Ricky Ponting for the role.
