Jaguar F1 team lost a diamond worth ₹2.38 cr during Monaco GP 2004

To promote the release of the film 'Ocean's Twelve' at the Monaco Grand Prix 2004, the Jaguar F1 team fitted a diamond reportedly worth $250,000 (nearly ₹2.38 crore) to the nose cone of each of its cars. During the race, driver Christian Klien crashed on the very first lap. The diamond vanished and was never recovered, despite extensive searches.
