Jailed Thai ex-police chief ‘Joe Ferrari’ found dead in prison

Former Thai police colonel Thitisan Utthanaphon, known as “Joe Ferrari”, was found dead in his Bangkok jail cell, three years after being sentenced to life for torturing a drug suspect to death. Authorities said Thitisan died by suicide, but his family has raised doubts. Thailand’s justice ministry has launched an investigation.
