Jaishankar and Army General pushing pro-pak claims are deepfakes

Two deepfake videos appear to show External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar saying India was caught off guard by Pakistan’s retaliation during Operation Sindoor, and an Indian Army general admitting India paid the Taliban to attack Pakistan. BOOM found that the audios used in both are AI-generated to falsely attribute these statements to Jaishankar and Lt. Gen Manoj Kumar Katiyar.
