Jaishankar asked 'if US should be thanked for ceasefire', he says ‘I thank Indian military'

A German reporter asked S Jaishankar, "Do we have America to thank for ceasefire, as Washington portrays it?" Jaishankar highlighted that agreement on cessation of firing was reached through direct contact, adding, "We effectively hit and incapacitated Pakistan's main airbases and air defence system...I thank Indian military because it was their action that made Pakistan say: We're ready to stop."
