EAM S Jaishankar met Guyana President Irfaan Ali on the sidelines of CHOGM 2026 in Antigua and Barbuda, announcing a $500 million Line of Credit extension for roads, health, and defence projects. Both sides signed agreements on MSE manufacturing, Quick Impact Projects, Digital Public Infrastructure, and a UPI-like payment system for Guyana.
