Jaishankar meets Rubio in Philippines, discusses trade & tariffs

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on the sidelines of the ASEAN foreign ministers' meeting in the Philippines. Jaishankar said they discussed trade and tariffs, energy, defence and security, critical minerals and artificial intelligence. "We also exchanged quick perspectives on regional, global and multilateral issues of mutual interest," he added.
