Jaishankar to attend ex-B'desh PM Khaleda Zia's funeral on Dec 31

External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar will attend the funeral of the first female Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Khaleda Zia, on December 31. The funeral will be held in Dhaka, where Jaishankar "will represent the Government and people of India," the Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement. Khaleda Zia passed away at the age of 80 on Tuesday.
