Janelle Monáe wears diamond made from tequila for Met Gala 2025

Janelle Monáe wore a 5.5-carat emerald-cut diamond brooch made out of 1800 Cristalino tequila at Met Gala 2025's carpet. The diamond rested in a 70-carat white sapphire gem set in a white gold border with upside-down diamonds on the front and side borders, reported Page Six. The actress worked with costume designer Paul Tazewell and wore custom Thom Browne.
