Jansen reveals Ricky Ponting's message before leaving PBKS camp

Days before the WTC 2025 final, South Africa all-rounder Marco Jansen revealed Ricky Ponting’s message to him during IPL 2025. “Before I left (India), he (Ponting) just said ‘good luck, I hope you do well, but I hope you lose'. I learnt a lot from him, especially from a mental point of view," said Jansen as quoted by ICC.
