Jantar Mantar not closed for protests: Delhi Police issues clarification

The Delhi Police on Thursday issued a clarification, debunking social media rumours claiming Jantar Mantar is "locked or closed" for protests, calling them "false" and "misleading". "Jantar Mantar remains an active and authorised site for peaceful and authorised demonstrations," Delhi Police wrote on X. Police also stated that up to 1,000 permitted participants can gather upon formal approval.
