Japan, Indonesia to coordinate on energy amid Iran war disruptions
Japan's PM Sanae Takaichi said Japan and Indonesia agreed to coordinate on energy security, as the Iran war is disrupting fuel supplies vital to Asia. Indonesia is the world's top thermal coal exporter and major LNG exporter. "Both nations would make best efforts to convince all parties to de-escalate," Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto said as he met Takaichi in Tokyo.
