Japan recorded the biggest win by an Asian team in FIFA World Cup history after defeating Tunisia 4-0 on Sunday (Indian time) in the tournament's 1,000th match. The Group F victory also marked Japan's first win of the 2026 edition after their 2-2 draw against Netherlands.
