Japan denies 'neo-militarism', hits back at China for its buildup

Japan's Defence Minister Shinjiro Koizumi on Sunday denied allegations levelled by China that his country was engaging in a "new militarism". He countered the claims and called China's "huge arsenal of nuclear weapons and strategic bombers" a huge concern to the international community. China had called on Asia-Pacific countries to jointly resist the reckless actions of Japan's "neo-militarism".
