Japan hosts AZEC Plus Summit, pledges $10 bn for Asia's energy security

Japan hosted the Asia Zero-Emission Community (AZEC) Plus Summit, attended virtually by several countries, including India, Bangladesh and South Korea. Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi announced that Japan will provide about $10 billion to strengthen energy supplies across Asia. The meeting is part of broader efforts to enhance regional cooperation in the energy sector.
