Japan releases snowman-like asteroid Torifune image after flyby

Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) released close-up image of near-Earth asteroid Torifune captured during flyby by Hayabusa2 spacecraft. The asteroid resembles a snowman in shape. Cameras on board Hayabusa2 are also recording data from the asteroid's surface including geographical features. The Hayabusa2 mission previously explored asteroid Ryugu, delivering samples to Earth in 2020.
