Japan researchers turn discarded noodles into biodegradable paper

Japanese researchers from Kagawa University have developed a way to transform discarded wheat noodles into biodegradable paper using microorganisms. The researchers added that one serving of the noodles can create five to 10 sheets of A4-sized paper, which is stronger than traditional paper. To transform the leftover noodles into paper, they are mixed with water, enzymes and acetic acid bacteria.
