Japan snack giant Calbee switches to black-and-white packaging over Iran war

Japanese snack maker Calbee will temporarily switch its brightly coloured packaging ​to black and white for 14 of its products amid ink shortage driven by West Asia war crisis. Calbee said the initiative was aimed at ⁠maintaining stable shipments in response to the unstable supply. Calbee's products feature multi-hued designs featuring images on backgrounds that can be orange and yellow.
