Japan to give ₹65,000 to foreign students in financial trouble: Report

Japan will give 100,000 yen (over ₹65,000) to support foreign exchange students who are facing financial trouble due to COVID-19, local media reported. The cash handout is reportedly aimed to aid people studying in Japanese universities, colleges and vocational schools. The move comes after Japan eased its entry requirements for visitors, including international students, earlier this month.
