Japan urges G7 to take more measures to stabilise energy markets

Japan urged G7 wealthy nations and IEA to be prepared to take ​further flexible measures in stabilising energy markets if the West Asia crisis ‌continues. Japanese minister Ryosei Akazawa said measures could include additional coordinated oil stockpile releases at an appropriate time. He also said maintaining Southeast Asian supply chains requires ensuring fuel availability across the region.
