Japan using AI, robot caregivers to tackle dementia crisis
Japan, which is reporting escalating dementia cases, has turned to advanced technologies like AI and robot caregivers to tackle the crisis. Firms are using AI to analyse posture and walking patterns, predicting early signs of dementia. Whereas, researchers are developing humanoid robots designed to be "future caregivers". These can help a person put on socks, scramble eggs and fold laundry.
