Japanese boy stabbed in China on 1931 invasion's anniversary, dies

A 10-year-old boy enrolled in a Japanese school in China's Shenzhen died after being stabbed on Wednesday, officials confirmed on Thursday. This marked the second such attack near Japanese educational centres in China in recent months. The stabbing took place on the anniversary of the 1931 'Liutiaohu incident', which led to Japan's invasion of Manchuria in northeastern China.
