Japanese firm bids ₹2,238 crore for 3-acre plot in Mumbai's BKC

Japan's Sumitomo Corporation has submitted a bid of ₹2,238 crore for a three-acre plot in the prime Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) in central Mumbai. "The bid will be scrutinised, evaluated and will undergo our processes for other formal approvals before it is finalised," Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority said. The business giant reportedly plans to build a commercial office complex.
