Japanese firm unveils 'stink meter' that rates body odour

Japanese company Tanita has unveiled a pocket-sized device that can detect body odour and also rate it on a scale of 0-10. The device has a foldout sensor that takes 10 seconds to measure the smell. Its replaceable sensor can work for 2,000 uses, or about a year, the company said. Tanita has priced the ES-100 at $125 apiece.
