Japanese startup working on 'world's first' drug to grow teeth

A team of scientists led by Japanese pharmaceutical startup Toregem Biopharma is working on a drug to stimulate the growth of new teeth in what it says would be a world-first. It is set to conduct clinical trials on healthy adults in July 2024. The team created an antibody drug that inhibits the protein that suppresses the growth of teeth.
