Japan has a building with a highway passing through it

The Gate Tower Building in Osaka, Japan has a highway that passes between the fifth through seventh floors of the 16-storey building. The highway does not make contact with the building and passes through as a bridge, held up by supports next to the building. It was constructed in 1992.
