Japan's former princess Mako leaves for US with commoner husband, pics surface

Japan's former princess Mako, who married her commoner boyfriend Kei Komuro last month and was stripped of her royal status, departed for New York on Sunday. A small crowd gathered at the airport in Japan to see the couple off. Kei a graduate of Fordham University law school, works at a New York law firm.
