Japan's richest man and Uniqlo founder quits SoftBank board after 18 years

Japan's SoftBank Group on Friday said Tadashi Yanai, the 70-year-old Founder and CEO of fashion chain Uniqlo's parent Fast Retailing, will resign as independent director after more than 18 years. Yanai, Japan's richest man, is one of the only three external members on SoftBank's board. He is leaving the post to focus on running his own business, the company said.
