Japan's Sega offers $776 million to buy Angry Birds maker Rovio
Japanese gaming giant Sega announced on Monday it has made a €706 million ($776 million) offer to buy the maker of Angry Birds game, Finland's Rovio Entertainment. Sega will offer €9.25 per share for Rovio, a 19% premium over Friday's closing price of €7.775. This comes after Israel's Playtika made a bid in January to buy Rovio for €683 million.
