Pakistan-born UAE bowler Zahoor Khan has claimed that he helped Jasprit Bumrah develop his slow deliveries. In a viral video, Zahoor said he taught Bumrah how to bowl slower balls with no changes to his bowling action during the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2020. He added that Bumrah discussed the bowling technique with him during the IPL's UAE leg.
