Javed Akhtar slams 'linguistic superiority' over Rashmika's accent

Lyricist Javed Akhtar defended Rashmika Mandanna on X, challenging her critics to pronounce Tamil and calling the backlash 'fake and baseless linguistic superiority.' Rashmika had earlier said having a South Indian accent is natural since she is from South India. She added that directors consistently prefer her own voice for dubbing across languages.
