Jay Singh Rathore, whose audio chat went viral after scamming X users of ₹1.5 lakh, arrested

Jay Singh Rathore, who raised money online by falsely claiming his 12-year-old sister needed treatment for glaucoma and vitreous haemorrhage, has been arrested in UP's Agra district. Police said Rathore prepared fake medical documents and collected around ₹1.5 lakh through crowdfunding by misleading people. An audio chat on X Spaces featuring Rathore and people whom he scammed had gone viral.
