In order to speed-up the process of settling people's grievances, Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa on Tuesday launched a call centre called 'Amma Call Centre', which will be operational throughout the year. Using the toll-free number 1100, callers can contact the centre and register complaints at any time. The status of the complaints will be intimated through SMS, telephone and e-mail.
