Jaydev Shah first to play 100 Ranji matches as captain

Saurashtra captain Jaydev Shah has become the first cricketer to play 100 Ranji Trophy matches as captain, after leading the team against Vidarbha in Delhi this week. Shah made his first-class debut in 2002 and has represented Saurashtra in 111 matches. He first led the team 12 years ago in 2004 during a home match against Jharkhand.
