JD Vance calls 'Emily in Paris' the 'Shakespeare of our time', gets trolled

US Vice President JD Vance gave his "meta-analysis" of Lily Collins-starrer 'Emily in Paris' and called it the "Shakespeare of our time". He went on to say the fictional character Emily Cooper should end up with the French chef Gabriel, played by Lucas Bravo, and "should start a family". Several X users trolled him, calling his comparison "tone-deaf".
