JEE Mains topper in Assam, who scored 99.8 percentile by using proxy, held

The topper of the Joint Entrance Exam (Mains) in Assam has been arrested for allegedly using a proxy to write the entrance test, Guwahati Police said. The candidate, Neel Nakshatra Das, has been arrested along with his father, who is a doctor, and three employees of a testing centre. The candidate had scored 99.8 percentile without sitting for the exam.
