Jeff Bezos approached to buy stake in Liverpool by consortium led by Amit Bhatia

Amazon Founder Jeff Bezos has been approached to join an investor syndicate led by former Queens Park Rangers Co-owner Amit Bhatia seeking to buy a minority stake in Liverpool. A source said Bezos has not decided whether to invest. Liverpool owner Fenway Sports Group confirmed discussions. Around half of the Premier League's 20 clubs are owned mainly by US-based investors.
