Hollywood actress Jessica Alba’s non-toxic household products startup, The Honest Company, received $100 million in series D funding on Friday. This values the company at upwards of $1.7 billion, and puts Alba among the 40 richest self-made women of America. She owns a 20% stake in the company, which started out with selling diapers and baby wipes online.
