Jet Airways plane tries to take off from taxiway in Riyadh

Saudi Arabia's Aviation Investigation Bureau has said that a Jet Airways flight attempted to take off using full power from a taxiway parallel to the designated runway at Riyadh airport last week. As many as 148 people on board escaped unhurt following an aborted take-off. DGCA has suspended the licence of both the pilots involved in the incident, pending investigation.
