Jet Airways shares surge 122%, biggest ever gain since 2005 listing

Shares of bankrupt Jet Airways surged 122% on Thursday, their biggest ever gain since listing in 2005, after hitting an all-time low earlier in the day. The stock, however, has declined over 80% in the last one year. A bankruptcy court is set to rule today whether an insolvency application by the crisis-hit airline's lenders can be admitted.
