Jet Airways staff must get PF, gratuity dues despite insolvency: NCLAT
The National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) ruled that, despite insolvency, all Jet Airways employees must receive full provident fund (PF) and gratuity dues, even if the employers didn't have dedicated accounts. These statutory dues fell outside the "liquidation estate" and can't be distributed to financial creditors, NCLAT added. Appeals filed by SBI and other creditors have been denied.
