Jhansi records its highest-ever maximum temperature of 49°C

Uttar Pradesh's Jhansi on Tuesday recorded its highest-ever maximum temperature of 49°C, as per India Meteorological Department (IMD). Jhansi's previous highest maximum temperature was recorded on May 20, 1984 (48.2°C). Further, Babatpur (Varanasi Airport) reported its all-time highest temperature of 47.6°C and Agra saw highest maximum temperature of 48.6°C. Temperature hit 48.2°C in Prayagraj.
