Jharkhand Assembly Monsoon Session adjourned sine die

The Monsoon Session of Jharkhand Assembly was adjourned sine die on Tuesday, a day ahead of schedule. This came amid continued disruptions over alleged irregularities in JPSC/JSSC recruitment examinations and police action against protesting students. After the Assembly was adjourned sine die, CM Hemant Soren said, "We made all efforts to ensure the House functioned...but Opposition thwarted it."
