Jharkhand girl who starved to death had Aadhaar: UIDAI

The family of the 11-year-old girl in Jharkhand who died of starvation had an Aadhaar since 2013, according to the UIDAI. Earlier reports said the girl starved to death after her family's ration card was cancelled as it wasn't linked to Aadhaar. With no mid-day meals at school during holidays, the girl went without food for eight days before dying.
