Jharkhand government extends COVID-19 restrictions till January 31

Amid rising COVID-19 cases, the Jharkhand government has extended the ongoing COVID-19-related restrictions in the state till January 31, Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh said. Under the existing curbs, which are in place since January 3, all educational institutions, parks, swimming pools, gyms, zoos and tourist spots will remain closed, but offices will be allowed to operate at 50% capacity.
