Jharkhand ministers urge Mahto to end hunger strike, he refuses

Student activist Devendra Nath Mahto said Jharkhand Cabinet ministers asked him, through video call, to end his indefinite hunger strike and told him that protestors' demands would be met. "Hunger strike [will] continue until demand is officially met in writing," Mahto responded. Mahto is on a hunger strike to support students protesting against irregularities in recruitment exams in Jharkhand.
